When Google Translate HATIYA Made ‘Hatya Express’

New Delhi. Many times the help of Google Translate for translation creates a mess of meaning. Its hallmark was seen when the Railways mistakenly made a train a 'Murder Express'.

The matter is such that a big mistake was made in the translation of the Malayalam language of the station. The name of Hatiya station became Hatiya Station, which after Google translate became killer. When people got angry after the board went viral on social media, the Railways realized its mistake.

According to the information, a picture of a board with the name Hatiya on Hatiya-Enarkulam Express went viral on social media. After which Indian Railways had to face criticism from the people. Railways translated Hatiya into Malayalam as Kolapathakam. Which means in Hindi- killer. A picture of the board has gone viral on social platforms.

Railways admitted its mistake

According to a railway official, the mistake happened due to confusion over the Hindi word 'hatiya', which means 'murder'.
